"FISHERS OF MEN" Matthew 4:19

A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD INVOLVED WITH ADDICTION RECOVERY ! WE ARE ALL CALLED TO BE "FISHERS OF MEN"!  Matthew 4:19

Assuming that each and everyone reading this is a Born Again and Saved Christian, being a Born Again and Saved Christian in an addiction recovery meeting, means that you are one of the very fortunate few who have been rescued from drowning in the deep, dark, deadly, cold and murky waters of the sea of addictions! And it also means that you know that there is only One True Living God, Jesus Christ, who set you free from your addictions. We should never need to be reminded that there are still millions more desperate, less fortunate alcoholics and addicts left behind who are reaching out for someone’s help! As Born Again and Saved Christians, we are all called to be “fishers of men”, Matthew 4:19 (KJV) and he saith unto them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”, and we are also told in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” As Saved and Sober, Born Again Christians, we are all called to serve God, and we need to be sharing Gods Truth with others who are now sitting on the same bar stools we once sat on!
This message is for those who are feeling God calling them to serve Him in a ministry in The Spirit of Matthew 4:19 (KJV), and Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV), to reach out and rescue the millions of lost souls still drowning in the sea of addictions. Good fishermen know the fish, know the waters, and know what bait to use! To be a successful “fisher of men” we must know no less! Recovered alcoholics and addicts know the fish, know the waters, and know the bait better than anyone else! The dark, murky waters of AA meetings around the world are overflowing with lost souls struggling with addictions. They are being misled into believing in Step 3 that an undefined, imaginary, false “God of their own understanding”, without the power to answer their prayers, can deliver them from their drunkenness and into Salvation! As Christians, we know this to be pure heresy, and as “fishers of men,” it should be our top priority and mission to share The Truth with our lost brothers and sisters struggling with the same addictions God has delivered us from! No matter whether they’re sitting on a bar stool, or in an AA meeting, or in a Church pew, we need to reach out to them with Gods Truth! They may reject us, or even spit in our face, just as they did to Jesus, but we are called to follow Jesus! Matthew 16:24 (KJV), then said Jesus unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” He also told us in, John 14:15 (KJV) “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Please join me in my “fishing expedition” to reach out into the deep, dark, deadly, cold and murky waters of the sea of addictions, into the dark, smoke filled rooms of AA, and any of the many other places where alcoholics and addicts can be found. Whether across the street at your neighbors home, downtown at your place of employment, or across town at the shopping mall, or at our homeless shelters and jails and prisons, the world is teeming with millions of lost souls suffering with addictions who need to hear Gods Truth from someone who’s “been there, done that,” someone that they can relate to and trust. Someone just like you and I who’ve spent years under the influence of drugs and alcohol before we asked The Only One True Living God of The Bible, Jesus Christ, to set us free, and we became “free indeed”!
If you’re ready to move forward in your recovery, and answer Gods call for your service, I have written a new book titled Step 3 Addiction Recovery that was written specifically to help you in reaching others for Christ! It speaks to the hearts of the lost souls who have been mislead in Step 3 to believe that there is more than one God to choose from to deliver them from their addictions. It shows them how they will continue to relapse over and over again until they choose Jesus Christ as their Savior, who can “set them free” from the bondage of their addictions. As Christians involved in addiction recovery, we know that this one simple Truth will lead them to sobriety and Salvation!
Step 3 Addiction Recovery is a tool that every good “fisher of men” should keep in their tackle box, next to their Bible, and use and share often!
May we continue to work together serving The Lord, while sharing His Love with the lost, anxiously waiting to hear His Words in, Matthew 25:21 (KJV) His lord said unto him, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Amen
