TO OBEY , OR NOT TO OBEY,...
ROMANS 1 (NLT)
TO OBEY , OR NOT TO OBEY,... THE CHOICE IS YOURS,...THE CONSEQUENCES ARE ALSO YOURS,.........
I love Romans 1. All of it. First, Paul greets us in his typical humble demeanor in verses 1-7, then proceeds to enlighten us with the Good News in verses 8-15, and then the best news possible, about our Salvation in verses 16&17. Then in verses 18-32, he goes on to share with us Gods anger over sin. These 15 verses so adequately and unequivocally describe the condition of the world and the church today, need anyone need any further explanation?
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Romans+1&version=NLT Paul wrote it, inspired by God, You be the judge. Disobedience is not rewarded by God with blessings, His Wrath is our reward for our disobedience.(Romans 1:18)
I also love what Paul says in 1 Timothy 4:1-2 (NLT)
Warnings against False Teachers, “Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. 2, These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.”
And for further explanation and contemplation there’s always been Deuteronomy 28. Moses knew what time it was way back in the day!
The human race has always had the choice to be obedient or disobedient towards God, and to experience the consequences of their choices, ever since the Garden. God never changes. (Heb. 13:8) Neither does man, they keep being disobedient, and whine about the consequences all the way to hell ! Instead of following Gods advice in,...Acts 26:20, First to those in Damascus, then to those in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and then to the Gentiles, I preached that they should repent and turn to God and demonstrate their repentance by their deeds.
