DO YOU WANT TO BE SAVED and SOBER ?

DO YOU WANT TO BE
SAVED and SOBER ?

It’s amazing to me how many professing Men of God I see today throughout social and public media, as well as from the pulpit, quoting man after man, explaining and defending the Word of God! There is no better defense or explanation of Gods Word, than Gods Word! There is no spoken or written word other than Gods Word, that is The Truth! Everything else is pure speculation and opinion. Yet man is wandering further and further away from Gods Word, The Truth, and drifting closer and closer towards accepting mans philosophical views, ideologies, and conjecture, as the truth, which has led the world into the chaos and total moral depravity which we now find ourselves inhabiting, and raising our children in today. Most messages delivered in churches today are “dressed” with a little scripture for appeal and acceptance, (deception), then mixed with the opinions of  Nietzsche, Freud, Jung, and many other men who claim to have all the answers to all of life’s complex questions.
The fact is that there are very few men left today, including pastors, who are following in the footsteps of the Bereans, and validating all that professing Christian leaders have to say. Most of our “mega cathedrals” have replaced the pulpits with stages to “perform” on by “celebrity” speakers, (false teachers), who are merely engaged in running popularity contests with others seeking to build the biggest audiences and bank accounts! They call this church, and claim to be running these circuses in the name of God! Saving lost souls, being “fishers of men,” and washing feet seems to be at the bottom of their priority list… Consequently,…
During the past dozen or so years in the addiction recovery ministry, I’ve encountered a lot of opposition by many hundreds of alcoholics and addicts struggling with addiction recovery both in, and out of the church. Both Christians and unbelievers alike will question why they should believe that god can free them from their bondage. They question the idea that Gods Word is the truth and that they should believe it, and the promises that are in it. They’ve been lied to and deceived for so many years, and by so many people, that they no longer trust anyone. After years of witnessing many churches and church leaders fall like dominoes, they ask, “how or why should I trust God”?  Unbelievers, after having spent years in traditional secular 12-step addiction recovery programs, still have no idea who god is, since “any god” or any undefined “higher power” as they understand them, is acceptable and worthy to be worshipped in these meetings, and the only guidance they receive is to choose a god that they’re comfortable with. It isn’t uncommon to find 10 different gods in the same meeting. Since program policy forbids proselytizing or encouraging anyone to accept the One True God, why should anyone expect deliverance from addictions? Worshipping and praying to your Harley Davidson, your pet pit bull, or your favorite football team or player, will not “set you free”! Millions of men and women in secular 12-step recovery programs are told one minute that AA is a Christian based program, and that they need to surrender to a god to get sober, and then that any false idol will suffice. Millions of men and women in secular 12-step recovery programs have been led to believe that they have a disease, and are still waiting, sometimes for years, for some “magic pill” to come along and heal them.
As a Christian, this is an extremely difficult and trying situation to find oneself in. For many Christians already caught in the deadly Spiritual Warfare and battle of addictions, fighting the enemy against our addictions is enough of a challenge, without being confronted with a program that  professes to be of Christian roots, yet offers multiple gods, and at the same time denies Christ. The reason that the Christian is caught in these circumstances can be attributed to the overall failure of the churches described above. A failed church will fail its members. A church that condones homosexuality or gay marriage because it’s the politically correct stance to take to boost membership, will have little success in its marriage counseling program. Or an addiction recovery counseling program that promotes a 12-step recovery program that begins by teaching a Christian that they’re powerless, as in step 1, when Christ clearly states otherwise in Acts 1:8. Which is only one of dozens of references to our power as Christians. The point here is that as long as the church remains mired in the deceit of the enemy, and allows that deceit to pass on down into its counseling programs, the addicted Christian is either on his own, or must learn to totally rely on the Grace and Love of God, and our redemption that was won for us at Calvary! We must be Saved, and Set Free, to be Sober.

Abandoned Children Left Behind!

The Vicious cycle of Addictions!
And how to break it!

Matthew 19:14,
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

A drunken or addicted parent is absent from their children’s lives whenever they're under the influence of their drugs or alcohol. This is neglect and abandonment, which is child abuse and reckless endangerment, which results in their children growing up the equivalent of orphans and suffering tremendous emotional damage, trauma, and insecurity. This insecurity in turn, usually leads these children to use drugs and alcohol themselves to escape from the pain of deep emotional scars, the reality and emptiness of growing up orphaned and void of Loving and caring parents. Many of these children who are forced to raise themselves without supervision or guidance, turn to drugs and alcohol at an early age, and tend to grow up, (if they grow up at all), with every type of dysfunction imaginable. For all practical purposes, most of these children never fully mature or grow up mentally, emotionally, or spiritually without some type of divine intervention. And yes, that divine intervention is available, as God can, and will, and desires to, reach down and touch any of us who might fall into these unfortunate and painful circumstances, when we cry out to Him for help. Whether still in our childhood, or well into our adulthood, at any age, no matter what our backgrounds or circumstances might be, all that is required of us to be changed and saved, is a desire to change the road we’re on, a sincere willingness to turn our lives and wills over to God, and to repent, to have Faith in, and to believe in and accept His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. In return, He promises us Eternal life with Him, Salvation. He introduces us to His Truth and promises us a brand new life filled with joy and peace, set free from the bondage of the sin that’s been keeping us in the darkness of addictions. He promises to keep us Saved and Sober!

A Message To Christians Who Have
Turned AA Into a False Idol...
Let Christ set you free,…
“For when we died with Christ we were
set free from the power of sin.”

If you're a Christian struggling with addictions, don't let the AA 12 step addiction recovery program  hold you captive with a lifetime sentence of lies, slogans, and commitments.

AA would have you believe that you have an incurable disease. You don't have a disease, you are a sinner, according to God in   Galatians 5:19-21.  and elsewhere throughout His Word.

AA would have you believe that you're powerless. (step 1) You're not powerless, instead you have God's power. If you're born again, Jesus says in Acts 1:8,…“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…”, (Acts 1:8)

AA would have you believe that you're hopeless, i.e. (“once a drunk, always a drunk”) You're not hopeless, God tells us in Romans 15:13, and throughout his Word, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

AA would have you believe that the minute you miss a meeting, whether you've been attending meetings for 1 year or 10 years, you'll immediately relapse. That’s nothing less than brainwashing.

AA would have you believe that they have some connection to Christianity, yet proclaims that “any” god you can imagine will suffice, and is acceptable and worthy of worship in their meetings. Christians, however, believe in one God, because He tells us so in, Malachi 2:10, Romans 3:30, 1 Corinthians 8:6, Ephesians 4:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, and James 2:19 . AA members, and members of other 12-step programs, are encouraged to put their trust and faith into some “undefined higher power”, or a God of “their” choice, or a god as they choose to understand him! They, (AA), refuses to allow the Holy Word of God, the Bible, The Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is The Truth into their meetings, or allow any discussion of Him or His Son Jesus Christ, or The Holy Spirit Is also forbidden in its meetings. As long as A-A refuses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as its “higher power”, and that there is but only one Sovereign Almighty God, and refuses to allow the Gospel, or discuss the Word of God and Jesus, or allow prayer in their meetings, it will never be a Christian program! Period! You can't deny Christ and be a Christian! (Titus 1:16, Mathew 10:32-33, 2 Tim. 2:12) These facts define AA as nothing less than another cult, led by satan, who's competing for your soul.

If AA was anything but a cult, why would its founders, 80 years ago, and its followers today, claim it to have a Christian foundation, yet deny Christ, by refusing to worship Christ? There is only one answer and reason, which is the same of any cult, to lead people away from Christ and the Truth. It’s all the result and manipulation of the devils deceitful plan to win your soul. There’s only Gods Truth,…..or the consequences without accepting it, is Eternal damnation and separation from God. The choice is yours. And time is running out. (Matthew 4:17)

As a Christian, are you going to believe mans philosophy, (Colossians 2:8), or God's Word,…(Romans 6:7) “For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.” or John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” God wants you to Surrender your ties to the world, and turn to Him for Salvation, to be Set free, and Saved and Sober!

Gods Word doesn't lie, follow along by clicking the links directly to His Word, The Truth! And let it set you free, and you will be Saved and Sober!

A public disclaimer; I'm not opposed to the work of AA or NA in the secular world. It’s helped millions of men and women around the world get clean and sober. I am a Christian, and I'm opposed to anyone, or any group or program who mislead other Christians through deception and lies that don't line up with Gods Word. My mission is not to fight with AA, or condemn its work, but to expose their lies by revealing the Truth to Christians as they apply to addiction recovery in the Church.

“Driving In the Dark”

“Driving In the Dark”
Living without Gods light in our life
John 8:12

I think God often shows us exactly where He wants us to go, (our vision of a ministry or our purpose to serve Him), or His will for us, but rarely, if ever, is He going to hand us a GPS device or map. For His very specific reasons, He's going to want us to "turn on the lights"! ("Open His Word"), to get the directions we need to get to where He wants us to be. And, for our own good, He's set out, according to His will and purpose, various obstacles, roadblocks, and detours we need to avoid and overcome to get to His final destination for us. And if we're not traveling with "our lights on", (staying in His Word), we're going to get lost, or perhaps crash! (Ps. 119:105, I John l:5, John 8:12, 1:4-9, 12:35-36, Acts 26:18) Another important message here is that even with "our lights on", we can't be speeding! Some of us need to slow down and quit running stop signs! Speeding itself is dangerous enough! God gives us lots of warning signs throughout our journey, often through trials and  forgiveness for our many offences. But if we're speeding, we may not recognize the warnings. Eventually, if we continue speeding through life without our lights on, and missing the warning signs, we may end up running a stop sign that could lead to a crash or worse.
Many of us are here today or reading this because we've run that stop sign. Perhaps over and over again because we've been speeding through life in the dark without the lights on. If that sounds like you, it's probably time to "come in from the dark"! (John 3:19-21, Acts 26:18
Should we continue to travel through life in the dark, with our "Lights out", eventually we'll begin causing "traffic jams". Those following us, our family, friends, co-workers, and even brothers and sisters in the Lord, may be affected and slowed down by our recklessness along the journey, if we continue making wrong turns, speeding, and running stop signs, because we're not traveling "In The Light".(PS. 119:105) If we continue going in the wrong direction, it's inevitably going to affect everyone following us. Especially our loved ones. We need to recognize that if we travel through life living according to scripture Like John 8:12, and Ps. 119:105, life's paths will be much smoother and well illuminated for our journey, and those who might be traveling with us. It will be far more difficult to end up on a dead-end road, or run off the road.
We must realize however, that sometimes in life's journey, even traveling at the speed limit, and with our "lights on", God sometimes allows us to take a wrong turn or two. Sometimes even down dark, unmarked, dead-end roads, or allows us to make wrong turns that keep us going around in circles, sometimes allowing a "crash" or two along the way. But if we travel with our "lights on", staying close to God by staying in His Word, using it as our spiritual compass and guide, we should recognize and understand the purpose of these "road hazards and detours" along our journey. They're there to toughen us up. To build and strengthen our character, and our faith. "Life's many trials and challenges conquered, make us who we are." Ultimately, they'll make the journey smoother. The journey may be full of bumps and lumps, twists and turns, dead-end roads, trials, and failures, but "arriving' at the final destination, Home in Heaven, is the ultimate goal in the first place. And God promises us that final eternal destination, as long as we keep the "lights on" during the journey! If you’re feeling “lost,” or unsure or insecure in the purpose or direction of your journey, open Gods Word, (our map), pray for discernment and direction, and you’ll discover much smoother roads for the rest of the journey, with a lot less “potholes.”  And His Word is far more reliable than man’s “GPS”!
While we’re always in a hurry to get to wherever we think we’re going, God is never in a hurry. Each of the tiniest details and segments of Gods perfect plan overall, and in our own lives individually, have already been set in motion, and are on time far more precisely then even the “nuclear clock”! If we’re truly following God, we can be assured we’re always on time, never late for any Divine appointment. Quite often when God see’s that we’re “speeding” through life He might let some air out of our tires to slow us down!
