WOE UNTO THE SIN OF DRUNKENNESS

WOE UNTO THOSE WHO GET ENTANGLED IN DRUNKENNESS

ISAIAH 5:11, 20-22 (NLT)

11 What sorrow for those who get up early in the morning looking for a drink of alcohol and spend long evenings drinking wine to make themselves flaming drunk. 20 What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. 21 What sorrow for those who are wise in their own eyes and think themselves so clever. 22 What sorrow for those who are heroes at drinking wine and boast about all the alcohol they can hold.

When we reject God, our perception of right and wrong becomes distorted. Our behavior becomes dysfunctional and irrational. We call our compulsions good, as we begin to disrespect others on our path. We don’t see reality for what it is because we’ve abandoned The One who created it! The only way to get back to reality is to turn back to God and seek His Truth in His Word! Just as Israel was invaded by its enemies as judgement for its sins, alcoholics and addicts can expect judgement for their sin until they acknowledge it, repent of it, and turn from it! Not until then can we be forgiven and set free from it! As I write this just 30 minutes before 2017, I think of the many millions of alcoholics and addicts around the world right this minute who fit the description in the above scripture. Many won’t make it home. Many others will make it home only to spend the rest of their lives in Eternal Damnation. And a few someday may see themselves in a mirror and cry out to God to rescue them!

"FISHERS OF MEN" Matthew 4:19

A MESSAGE TO EVERYONE AROUND THE WORLD INVOLVED WITH ADDICTION RECOVERY ! WE ARE ALL CALLED TO BE "FISHERS OF MEN"!  Matthew 4:19

Assuming that each and everyone reading this is a Born Again and Saved Christian, being a Born Again and Saved Christian in an addiction recovery meeting, means that you are one of the very fortunate few who have been rescued from drowning in the deep, dark, deadly, cold and murky waters of the sea of addictions! And it also means that you know that there is only One True Living God, Jesus Christ, who set you free from your addictions. We should never need to be reminded that there are still millions more desperate, less fortunate alcoholics and addicts left behind who are reaching out for someone’s help! As Born Again and Saved Christians, we are all called to be “fishers of men”, Matthew 4:19 (KJV) and he saith unto them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”, and we are also told in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV) to, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” As Saved and Sober, Born Again Christians, we are all called to serve God, and we need to be sharing Gods Truth with others who are now sitting on the same bar stools we once sat on!
This message is for those who are feeling God calling them to serve Him in a ministry in The Spirit of Matthew 4:19 (KJV), and Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV), to reach out and rescue the millions of lost souls still drowning in the sea of addictions. Good fishermen know the fish, know the waters, and know what bait to use! To be a successful “fisher of men” we must know no less! Recovered alcoholics and addicts know the fish, know the waters, and know the bait better than anyone else! The dark, murky waters of AA meetings around the world are overflowing with lost souls struggling with addictions. They are being misled into believing in Step 3 that an undefined, imaginary, false “God of their own understanding”, without the power to answer their prayers, can deliver them from their drunkenness and into Salvation! As Christians, we know this to be pure heresy, and as “fishers of men,” it should be our top priority and mission to share The Truth with our lost brothers and sisters struggling with the same addictions God has delivered us from! No matter whether they’re sitting on a bar stool, or in an AA meeting, or in a Church pew, we need to reach out to them with Gods Truth! They may reject us, or even spit in our face, just as they did to Jesus, but we are called to follow Jesus! Matthew 16:24 (KJV), then said Jesus unto his disciples, “If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” He also told us in, John 14:15 (KJV) “If ye love me, keep my commandments.”
Please join me in my “fishing expedition” to reach out into the deep, dark, deadly, cold and murky waters of the sea of addictions, into the dark, smoke filled rooms of AA, and any of the many other places where alcoholics and addicts can be found. Whether across the street at your neighbors home, downtown at your place of employment, or across town at the shopping mall, or at our homeless shelters and jails and prisons, the world is teeming with millions of lost souls suffering with addictions who need to hear Gods Truth from someone who’s “been there, done that,” someone that they can relate to and trust. Someone just like you and I who’ve spent years under the influence of drugs and alcohol before we asked The Only One True Living God of The Bible, Jesus Christ, to set us free, and we became “free indeed”!
If you’re ready to move forward in your recovery, and answer Gods call for your service, I have written a new book titled Step 3 Addiction Recovery that was written specifically to help you in reaching others for Christ! It speaks to the hearts of the lost souls who have been mislead in Step 3 to believe that there is more than one God to choose from to deliver them from their addictions. It shows them how they will continue to relapse over and over again until they choose Jesus Christ as their Savior, who can “set them free” from the bondage of their addictions. As Christians involved in addiction recovery, we know that this one simple Truth will lead them to sobriety and Salvation!
Step 3 Addiction Recovery is a tool that every good “fisher of men” should keep in their tackle box, next to their Bible, and use and share often!
May we continue to work together serving The Lord, while sharing His Love with the lost, anxiously waiting to hear His Words in, Matthew 25:21 (KJV) His lord said unto him, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.”
Amen

DON'T BE DECEIVED !

DON'T BE DECEIVED !

DON’T BE DECEIVED!

Millions of alcoholics and addicts are led to Hell in step 3 of the Alcoholics Anonymous 12-steps because they are misled into believing that there are many Gods! Which is an outright lie and blasphemy! Mark 12:32 (KJV) And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he: .... Exodus 20:3 (KJV) Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
If you were to attend an AA meeting today, anywhere in the world, you would be informed, even taught or brainwashed into believing that they had been formed from a "Christian" group known as The Oxford Group, yet you would be denied the opportunity to discuss or share or have any discussion about Jesus Christ!
AA is a cult that has infiltrated many of our Christian Churches, and polluted many of the very basic core doctrines !

STEP 3; DON'T MAKE THE WRONG CHOICE!

STEP 3

DON'T MAKE THE WRONG CHOICE!

Every alcoholic and addict in the world knows about the ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS 12 – STEP PROGRAM. Most of the millions of alcoholics and addicts around the world who have broken through the barrier of denial, have probably attended some of their meetings. Many millions of alcoholics and addicts are regularly attending these meetings right now, somewhere in the world! And still many more right this minute are reading about, talking about, or studying or examining the message found in step 3, scratching your head. The concept of “a god of your own understanding” goes against what you’ve probably heard all your life. 90% of us grew up hearing about a God who created us, and wrote The Bible, which told us how we should live our lives if we wanted to get to Heaven. Now here we are years later, after years of rejecting that God, and years of addictions, we find ourselves being told that there are “many” gods who can help us overcome those addictions. Instead of being told the truth about God, we are told we can make our Harley Davidson our god, or our pet bull dog, or many even choose the founders of AA as their gods! There is only One God folks, The One you heard about as a child! The One True Living God of the Bible, your Creator, The One who hates other false gods, The One who sent His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ to die on The Cross for us, to rescue us from our addictions and other sin! Until we come to recognize this simple Truth, and understand that satan is real and has been keeping us hooked on booze and drugs, our sobriety will only be temporary until our next relapse!

DRY DRUNKS…

DRY DRUNKS…

Are you a dry drunk still wallowing in the dysfunctional pig sty of a
lifestyle that you created while being an alcoholic and addict?

was a hardcore drunk and addict and a Marlborough man for nearly thirty years before I quit drinking, drugging, and smoking! (Without the help of anyone, or any 12-step programs.) It wasn’t until 2 years later as a dry drunk wallowing in the dysfunctional pig sty of a lifestyle I had created while being an alcoholic and addict, that I realized that being sober did nothing to change the miserable person I had become! It was at that moment of realization that I knew that “I” had nothing to do with being sober, but that God had taken the addictions from me, to show me that I needed to surrender to Him to change my life! I did, …. and He did ! And thirty years later, I still give Him all the Praise and Glory for His Love and Grace to Save a wretch like me ! (Romans 7:24)

If you’re a sober dry drunk, still wallowing in the dysfunctional pig sty of a life you created while you were an active drunk or addict, and seeking to change your life, there is only One True Living God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, Mark12:32, who can forgive you of your sin
(Acts 8:22)  set you free from your addictions, (John 8:32)  change your life from the inside, out, (2 Corinthians 5:17)  and offer you Eternal Life with Him! (John 17:3) All you have to do is repent, (Acts 8:22) and ask Him into your Heart! You will be free indeed, and Saved and Sober!

PSYCHOLOGY IN OUR CHURCHES AND ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAMS

PSYCHOLOGY IN OUR CHURCHES AND ADDICTION RECOVERY PROGRAMS

Most of our churches today are led by pastors with degrees in Theology and Psychology. Two completely opposing theories of each other. Our larger churches usually have paid staff members who are required to hold the same degrees to better serve the churches members with counseling. Rather than focusing on The Gospel of Jesus Christ and The Truth of God for counseling, these churches have chosen to rely on man's principals to water down God's Truth. Psychology is a scientific study of the mind and our behavior that comes from satan, and is comprised of the thoughts of a handful of sinners individual minds! Not based on God's Truth! We as Christians have been warned throughout God's Word to beware of false teachings spread by false prophets and teachers, yet we have failed to comply with these warnings and are facing the consequences we see in the world today! Matthew 7:15,
Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Addiction recovery in our Churches

Almost everyone in the addiction recovery field who claim to be Christians and who shout out "Lord, Lord" from one side of their mouths, and promote worldly, (satanic) recovery principals based on psychology will someday be hearing these words we find in,........ Matthew 7:21 (KJV) "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Jesus Christ IS the answer to addictions, psychology IS NOT! Psychology is a tool of the devil used to deceive the lost! And keep them from The Truth! The addiction recovery "INDUSTRY" has become a billion dollar scam run by satanic psychologists who despise and reject the name of "Jesus Christ"! Anyone who promotes psychology over the shed blood of Jesus Christ is not of God! 1 John 4:2-4 "This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. 4 You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world." God's Word is perfectly clear, man's word is hearsay at best!  Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

AN END TO HABITUAL SIN

An End to Habitual Sin

Satan looks for weak spots in a believer’s life where he can set up a stronghold. Once his fortress is established, he knows that the person will justify it, defend it, and keep adding bricks to it, one sin at a time. The appeal can be so strong that we return to a habitual sin even after confessing before God. Satan whispers, “One more time won’t hurt,” and we fall to temptation again. Just as in medieval times when armies warred over high rock fortresses, a sin stronghold is usually the ground for a skirmish. We might expect the fight to be primarily between God and Satan, but that’s not the case—the Lord can knock down the Devil’s walls instantly. Instead, the struggle goes on within our spirit: Do we want God to break our habit or not? Giving up habitual sin is hard. The sinner finds comfort, pleasure, and/or satisfaction in the practice. Hot on the heels of those emotions, however, are guilt, shame, and despair, which drive a person to plead for help. But holy God cannot cleanse unrighteousness until people genuinely repent. True repentance means that a believer sees a sin for the wickedness that it is and turns his back on it. And we turn away as often as it takes—one time, a hundred times, or every single day for the rest of our lives. Just thinking about giving up a sinful habit brings some people to the brink of despair. They want to be free of a stronghold, but the thought of resisting temptation makes them feel weak. Here is good news: the Holy Spirit’s power is enough to enable any believer to walk away. That includes you. Copyright 2011 In Touch Ministries, Inc. All rights reserved. www.intouch.org. If we take God’s Word seriously, and believe it all to be His Gospel Truth, the simplest way to end “habitual sin” is to follow this one verse, and not question its applicability in your life,… John 14:15 “ If you love me, keep my commands”.

"ARE YOU A JUNKIE"?

ARE YOU A “JUNKIE”?
“It takes a “junkie” to know a “junkie”!

“Junkies” come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. “Junkies” are white, black, brown, and yellow, young, old, fat and skinny, male and female, and everything in between! “Junkies” are all ages and faiths, denominations, nationalities, and political persuasions. “Junkies” are anyone who needs to ingest “junk” into their bodies to make them “feel good”! Whether your “junk” of choice is consumed in liquid form, smoked, snorted, injected, or ingested as food, or swallowed as a pill, whether the “junk” you’re consuming is white, black, green, brown, or yellow, if you’re consuming it to get high and escape reality, you’re a “Junkie”! Also known as an addict! Most likely a hopeless addict in a world offering very little hope or help to the millions suffering with addictions who are seeking help from any of the addiction recovery programs that the secular world has to offer! The billion dollar “war on drugs” has proven to be hopeless, most of the 12-step addiction recovery programs have proven to be hopeless, offering little more than relentless ‘relapse”, incarceration has proven to be hopeless, and all of your own personal efforts have proven to be hopeless. And the latest effort, to take away the “stigma” from addictions will most assuredly prove to fail! If we have a conscience, “stigma” will cause guilt, which may lead a few “junkies” to God for forgiveness, and to be set free from their addictions! The only Hope for “junkies” and all other sinners is found in the one true Living God, who sent His Son Jesus Christ as a Sacrifice for our sin and “drunkenness”! If you’re tired of being a “junkie”, and ready to admit it and turn to God for Salvation and deliverance, do so today because time and life are short, and you can be Saved and Sober tomorrow!

A SIMPLE MESSAGE TO ALL ALCOHOLICS AND ADDICTS AROUND THE WORLD!

A SIMPLE MESSAGE TO ALL ALCOHOLICS AND ADDICTS
AROUND THE WORLD!

You can spend the rest of your short life stumbling around in the confusion and darkness of the many various addiction recovery 12-step programs, choosing in step 3, “a god of your own understanding” to help you recover, or you can choose "The One True Living God of The Bible", Jesus Christ, and be set free from your addictions now! If you’re tired of relapsing, you can end your addictions today by making the right choice in Step 3!

STEP 3
The decision a person makes in Step 3 of a 12-step addiction recovery program, is one of life or death consequences! Creating a “God of your own understanding” will have deadly consequences!

Millions of alcoholics and addicts have been deceived over the years, and are still being deceived today, right this minute around the world, in AA's 12-steps which in Step 3 clearly deny Christ as being “the only God”, or, "The One True Living God of the Bible"! According to 2 John:7, this qualifies them (AA), as being an antichrist! 2 John 7 (KJV) “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist”. Also in,…..   1 John 4:3, “but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world”. Also in,….. 1 John 2:22 “Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son”. This scripture is perfectly clear, and for anyone seeking addiction recovery through “a higher power”, or a “God of their own understanding”, it should be perfectly evident who you need to choose to answer your prayers and deliver you from the chaos your life has become because of your addictions! Make your last relapse, your last relapse making the right choice in Step 3, and become Saved and Sober!

STEP 3 ONE GOD BIBLE STUDY

STEP 3 ADDICTION RECOVERY
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD
Bible Study

THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD!
ONLY ONE GOD WHO CAN ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS
TO BE SET FREE FROM YOUR ADDICTIONS!
DO NOT BE DECEIVED!

The most important single element of finding successful, permanent, relapse free addiction recovery, is choosing "The One True Living God of The Bible" in step 3! Millions of lost souls roam the rooms and halls of AA meetings everyday aimlessly seeking "a god as they understand him", when The One True Living God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, is denied access into the meetings! AA members are not permitted to discuss the the only God, Jesus Christ, who has the power to answer prayers and set them free from their addictions. John 10:30, "I and my Father are one."

The world of addiction recovery has been led astray over the past several decades by the idea in step 3 of AA's 12 step addiction recovery program that alcoholics and addicts can turn their lives and wills over to “a god of their own understanding”! The following scripture proves that to be wrong! Over these past several decades, millions of alcoholics and addicts have been kept trapped in the bondage of their addictions because they chose “a god of their own understanding” who has no power to answer our prayers and perform the miracles that are necessary for us to achieve sobriety! It is perfectly clear in the scripture below that there is only One God, Jesus Christ, to surrender our lives and wills over to, who is willing and able to free us from our addictions, and change our lives, that we might be Saved and Sober!

Sometimes repetition is necessary to make a point…

THE 4 PILLARS OF TRUTH

THE 4 PILLARS OF TRUTH
FOR CHRISTIANS IN
 ADDICTION RECOVERY
ACCORDING TO GOD’S WORD!

This program and Bible Study teaches and exposes in great detail, and through much scripture, the many lies and misleading deception of Satan, used over decades in traditional secular and worldly 12-step addiction recovery programs. This deception has begun to find its way into Christian Churches in recent years. We believe attempting to mix these secular programs and false teachings with God’s Word; will have devastating consequences on alcoholics and addicts who may already be struggling with the meaning and discernment of God’s Word and how it applies to their addictions. Alcoholics and addicts who have spent years in denial, and are now desperately in need of God’s Truth!
In The 4 Pillars of Truth for Christians in Addiction Recovery, we closely examine 4 fundamental pillars of Truth through scripture, that reveal 4 basic lies found in traditional, secular, 12-step addiction recovery programs. They are; Pillar #1, Our sin, not our health, Pillar #2, our power, not our weakness,  Pillar #3, our hope, not our despair, and Pillar #4, the myth that secular 12-step AA is a Christian program. These 4 Pillars of Truth are the foundation for all future ministerial work God might lead us into. They are the foundation for the 3 books I have written, “SAVED AND SOBER”“STEP 3 ADDICTION RECOVERY”,  and “40 DAYS IN THE WILDERNESS”. They are also the foundation for the material found in the following websites, blogsites, and social media. STEP 3 ADDICTION RECOVERY. COM,  ADDICTION RECOVERY TODAY.TODAYHTTP://ADDICTION-CRUCIFIXION FELLOWSHIP. BLOGSPOT . COM/ , and, ADDICTION CRUCIFIXION FELLOWSHIP/FACEBOOK. “12 CHRISTIAN TRUTHS AND BIBLE STUDIES FOR ADDICTION RECOVERY.”
Is a Bible study formatted into 12 individual Truths formulated through scripture. They can be identified with the secular 12-steps by individuals who are familiar with such secular programs, but are seeking addiction recovery as Christians, through the discovery and study of God's Word as it applies to them. For those who have come to the understanding that in addition to Salvation, they need God's Truth in their life to grow and mature, and have victory over their addictions. They’ve come to realize that “The Truth will indeed Set Them Free!”

PILLAR #1
OUR SIN!

“SECULAR” Addiction Recovery “EXPERTS” claim "Alcoholics and addicts have an incurable “DISEASE". “GOD” says,… “WE DO NOT!”  We do not have a disease, but a sinful nature. In Galatians 5:19-21, we read, “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery, idolatry, and witchcraft, hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition ... Envy,  “drunkenness,” orgies, and the like. I warn you as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the Kingdom of God!” This message can also be found in: Rom. 13:13, l Cor. 5:11, 6:9-10, Eph. 5:18, 1 Tim. 3:2-3, I Pet. 4:1-5. Wherever the word “drunkenness” appears in God’s Word, it’s always used in context other sinful behavior. So again, we do not have a disease, but a sinful nature. And for those who still insist we have a disease, God says in Mat. 4:23 ..... "Jesus went throughout Galilee, Healing every disease and sickness among the people". This message is repeated in James 5:16, Acts 4:10-14, 5:16, 8:7, 14:8-9,28, Ps. I03:3. Before we move on to Pillar 2, let's review and study Col. 2:8: "See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world, rather than on Christ". Also we read in 1 Cor. 1:19-20, “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” 20, Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?

PILLAR #2
OUR POWER!

“SECULAR” Addiction Recovery “EXPERTS” claim in Step 1 that we are powerless.
If we are fortunate enough to have escaped the power of denial which has kept us anchored or chained in bondage to our addictions, the first thing we are told in step 1 of AA is that we are powerless. Which is absolutely true if you’re not a Christian! But it is absolutely false if we are Christians! This statement is pure heresy in a Christian Church or a Christian addiction recovery program, and should never be allowed! “GOD” says ...… “WE ARE NOT POWERLESS“! Beginning with, and throughout scripture, we find verse after verse to the contrary of the message found in AA, or any 12-step program!

Again, don’t listen to the world’s lies. To tell a born again Christian that he or she is “powerless”, (as in step #1 in any 12-step program), is pure heresy in the church. And today, there are thousands of churches around the country and beyond, that are guilty of this heresy! If you are using one of these 12-step programs, that begins with teaching a born again believer filled with the Holy Spirit that he or she is “powerless”, you need to re-evaluate your program. Or simply explain to them that they were only powerless before surrendering their lives to Christ.

PILLAR # 3
OUR HOPE!

"SECULAR" Addiction recovery "EXPERTS" claim "we have no hope," i.e.: "Once a drunk, always a drunk". A very commonly heard statement at 12-step meetings around the world. So commonly used and heard in fact, one would have to suspect it to be a policy supported by the leaders of the 12-step programs. A very “Hopeless” statement indeed! A type of philosophy or teaching only the Devil could perpetrate! An absolute lie that should never find its way into a Christian Church. "GOD" says in Heb. 6:19: "Our "Hope" is certain. It is something for the soul to hold onto. It is strong and secure. It goes all the way into the most Holy room behind the curtain". Or 1 Pet. 1 :3: "Give praise to the GOD and father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In HIS great mercy he has given us a new birth and a "Hope" that is alive". Or, in Heb. 7: 19: "The law didn't make anything perfect, now a better "Hope" has been given to us. That "Hope" brings us closer to God". Also read: Prov. 23:18, Rom. 15:4,13, 5:5,8:24-25, Eph. 1:18-19, 2:12, 4:4, Heb. 3:6, 6:11,10:23, 1 Cor. 13:13, Titus 1:2, 1 Pet. 3:15, 1 Thes. 1:3. Notes: Read "In Touch" (Jan. 3, 2011) on "Hope and Power"

As Christians in recovery, are we going to continue living in our addictions, and become another vital statistic, or are we going to accept and stand firm on Gods Truth, (John 8:32-36), trust it, and claim victory over the bondage that is ours! (l Cor. 15:57 and 1 John 5:4.) It's our choice. I'm sure you're not reading this for entertainment, but in search for answers. All of the above are Gods answers according to His Word. I hope you've taken the time to follow along with His Word. My prayer is that you will find True and Everlasting Eternal Recovery in Christ Jesus, through the Revelation of His Truth. Amen

PILLAR # 4
THE A/A CHRISTIAN MYTH!

Many have been asking and debating for years, is Alcoholics Anonymous a Christian based program? Does it have Christian roots? Were the founders Christian men? It should only take a few verses of scripture in God's Word, the Truth, to recognize and understand that according to scripture like 2 John 7, or 1 John 4:3, or John 2:22, or Matthew 28:16-20, (The Great Commission), or Titus 1:16, or Acts 17:23, that when we are told in Step 3 that we should surrender our lives and wills to an undefined “higher power,” or “a god of our own understanding”, we should easily be able to recognize the complete and total lie, and false teaching in the idea that AA is a Christian program. As Christians, there is only “One God” according to Mark 12:32! A-A has been claiming for years to have Christian roots, and yet proclaims that “any” god that you can imagine is acceptable in their meetings and program. They refuse to allow the Holy Word of God in their meetings, or any discussion of His Son Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit is forbidden. Is it possible to have our prayers answered and be set free from the bondage of sins, or to receive Salvation and Eternal life with God the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, from "some undefined higher power"? I believe the answer is quite clear according to scripture. As long as A-A refuses to acknowledge Jesus Christ as its “higher power”, and that there is but only one Sovereign Almighty God, and refuses to allow the Gospel of Jesus Christ or scripture, or prayer in their meetings, it will never be a Christian program! Period! You can't deny Christ and be a Christian! While I understand their original intent, which is still being practiced today, is to try to make their meetings more appealing and acceptable to a larger audience, any and all Christians #1 objective must be to lead others to Christ! Matthew 28:16-20 commands us to do so, and if we are Christians, we don't need a command, because it should become our utmost desire to lead others to Christ. What good is a sober person going straight to Hell because the Truth's been hidden from them? And the Truth tells us that God won't allow any drunkards into Heaven, so we consequently, can be assured that if we are truly saved, he will “set us free” from our addictions!  NO, A/A is Not a Christian program, period! Good intentions or works will not get us into Heaven. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

12 CHRISTIAN TRUTHS

12 CHRISTIAN TRUTHS AND BIBLE STUDIES FOR ADDICTION RECOVERY

The most powerful truth of all is to know that your addiction recovery is in the hands of "The One True, Living, and Sovereign God of the Bible"! His Word is The Truth, and a lamp unto your feet, to use for guidance in your life! His Son, Jesus Christ died on The Cross to save you from your addictions! The 12 steps of AA, found in most addiction recovery programs today are filled with lies which can all be refuted in God’s Word!

 TRUTH #1
Breaking through denial
Having finally broken through the barrier of denial, and recognizing the need for help in becoming sober and changing my life, and heard the calling of GOD, we've chosen to surrender our lives and wills over to HIS care, through His Son Jesus Christ, according to HIS Word. We recognize that we receive His power, and are no longer powerless over alcohol when we choose "The One True Living God of the Bible" in Step 3 of the secular 12 step programs. HIS Word clearly tells us that we are not powerless if we are born again Christians, but receive HIS power when we surrender our lives and will to HIM, as we read in: John 3:3,7,161 Pet.1:3, 23, then In Acts 1:8, Jesus says,  “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Or in Philippians 4:13 we read, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."  Or Eph. 3: 14-21, "Out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through "His" spirit in "your inner being" ....18: you may have power .... that "You" may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of GOD". God's Word is perfectly clear, we are no longer powerless. We were powerless before surrendering our lives and will to Christ, and became “Born Again”, and will remain powerless without Christ in our lives! There are no powerless Christians, only those who answer God’s definition of “Ye of little Faith”!  Also read Mat. 22:14, Heb. 9:15, 1 Tim. 6:11-12, 2 Tim. 1:9, 1 Cor. 1:9, 2 Thes. 2:13-15, Rom. 8:28-30, 10:9, 12:2,3:22,2 Pet. 1:3, Prov. 3:5-6
